You're so welcome, Johnny. "Exit Interview" is a memoir, not a work of journalism.

But a pillar of journalism ethics is also one of basic human fairness: If you accuse someone of legal wrongdoing, you either give them a chance to respond or, if you have no access, see if the person is on record elsewhere as having responded.

I recognized and knew the name of the alleged harasser "Exit Interview" calls "Arthur Adler." So I was able easily to find his response via his lawyer through an ordinary Google search, which I published ("baseless," "consensual relationship," etc.). You hear "consensual relationship". all the time in cases like this, but how the book handles this incident ignores the broader concept of, "Do unto others."
