You're right, Vic: They would be spinning in their graves. My journalism prof wasn't a correspondent--he was a paratrooper-- in World War II.

But the war may have given his entire generation a different perspective on the news: They could see that life or death issues were at stake, and how much the the truth about them mattered. Thanks so much for pointing out that potential difference among generations.
