You're right, Amol. I've seen references to a few of those and should probably check them out. There are also some about the disaster in Munich.

What strikes odd is that both of those events occurred 40+ years ago, and there have been so many "big" Olympic moments since then. I can't quite figure why they haven't inspired more and better books, especially about "marquee" sports like gymnastics or the marathon.
