You have lots of company in being unable to fathom why he's blocking Sweden. And that may be backfiring: He's so clearly doing Putin's bidding that people are outraged.

There may have been other calls for sanctions against Hungary besides the one I mentioned in the story, but I haven't heard of them, and if they keep coming, the U.S. and other democracies may finally be moved to act against him.
