You could probably do a great companion piece to this on the issue in films.

If you do: Some of the background stories I read for this one mentioned "Misery" and Poe's "The Purloined Letter." Both of those seemed to involve slightly different issues than what I was talking about, so I left them out, but I'm sure you could find a way to work them in if you were inclined :).
