You are so right that nothing seems to work. And I didn’t even cover the non-gun attacks, such as the machete attack in Times Square and the fatal stabbings of the Moscow, Idaho, college students. Our country seems to have developed a tolerance for violence that it hasn’t previously had, at least in my lifetime.
