You are so right, Gareth. Scott's gift to Medium was to make a pub devoted to politics work well.

I'd love to see him transfer ownership--if only until the election--to someone else. The good political content on the pubs I mentioned can get buried amid other types of material. It's harder to find now than it was when we had Politically Speaking.
