You are so right about picking one or two platforms that seem to work best for you. Countless examples support your point.

The most famous is that of James Patterson, who put his chips on TV ads for his books when nobody else was doing it. He was convinced TV was what he needed, and he was right.

More recently, something similar happened to Colleen Hoover with TikTok (and it wasn't even Hoover herself who was post the videos but her fans).

You'll go nuts if you try to be all things to all people who might like your work. I hope readers of these comments take your words to heart.
