You are so right about Chinese censorship. It's so pervasive and enduring that it's tempting to shrug it off with, "What do you expect? It's China."

But I see the Chinese censorship somewhat as I see the continual attempts to kick Huck Finn out of U.S. schools and libraries. Journalists and others need to keep reminding people that those things are happening (and of the many forms they take)--if only so people won't think they've gone away or aren't a problem.
