Yes, it works in bookstores, too! And I use that Amazon "Look Inside" feature a lot. I don't think anyone has mentioned it before in these Comments, and I appreciate your reminding people of it.

But--in terms of buying books on Amazon--I probably use the "download a free sample" more. Sometimes Amazon gives you a surprising amount of text, often dozens of pages.
