Yes, Facebook definitely still has advantages. I went to a large high school and university, each of which had thousands of students, and FB is where I connect with former classmates. So if I had a new book and wanted to spread the word to them, that's where I'd do it. The one-click ease of sharing posts helps with that, too. I know your friends appreciate it that you take pains not to annoy them with a full-court press daily :).
