Yes, and in so many ways: voter IDs; closing or trying to close MV departments, where you register to vote; in majority-black areas; challenging or denying voting rights of the formerly incarcerated, etc.

I'm a book critics and hate book banning, about which I've written often, and it's been around since the early days of the republic. And trying to kick the frequently challenged Huck Finn out of libraries just isn't on the same level with the relentless efforts to deprive black residents of their voting rights.
