Very helpful and worthwhile. I've heard from dog-owners that rescue dogs show similar symptoms of separation anxiety, except that they also bark, which can cause real problems with neighbors when they're away (the dogs bark nonstop).

This story was an excellent reminder that cats have their own ways of showing separation anxiety.
