This will be no comfort, but sci-fi books don't win book awards, either. That's why, in the U.S., we have the Hugo and Nebula awards for them.

With the proliferation of streaming platforms and other industry changes, is it time for someone to launch dedicated sci-fi movie awards (unless it's happened and escaped my notice)?
