This piece is well argued, but I'm not sure I'd rate the Bible as more dangerous than the Quran, especially in the modern era.
Consider 9/11, the Rushdie fatwa, and all the brutality toward women the Quran is still being used to justify every day around the world. You think the Bible is more dangerous than a book used to justify murdering, imprisoning, or otherwise persecuting women for not wearing a hijab-equivalent incorrectly? That didn't happen even when the Catholic Church had much stricter dress codes for women (about things like covering their heads for Mass) than it does today.
I'd like to hear, for example, what feminists or 9/11 victims think of the implicit message of this piece that the Bible is more dangerous than the Quran.
