This is one advantage of many smaller presses: Because of the scale smaller, they can often do more beautiful editions of books than mega-publishers that produce books by the hundreds of thousands of copies. Although it may not qualify as "small" by now, in Britain I especially like Persephone and--among those that do qualify--Slightly Foxed.
