But what you're saying make perfect sense to me after what I've observed in the U.K.: People say "sorry" there much more than in the U.S., often for things that don't seem to me to be their fault.
I'd love to read a story on the different "apology culture" in the U.S. and Canada (and maybe also the U.K. if you're familiar with it). Thanks so much for giving me a fresh perspective on this.
