The Queen had a wonderful sense of humour, and this is reflected in a recent revelation that her favourite film is none other than Flash Gordon. Or at least, that’s what Brian Blessed claims she told him, since she rewatched it with her grandchildren every Christmas. Apparently, she also asked him to recite some of the dialogue during their meeting. Seeing Brian Blessed exclaim “Gordon’s alive?” for the pleasure of Her Majesty the Queen must have been a surreal and amusing scene to witness.
