This idea might be worth pursuing for the year: Follow up with a new flag every month and a brief comment on it. By the end of the year it could amount to a portrait of the town in signs.

I live in a deep red town that reflects a pattern: GOP candidates' signs stay up, while those of Democrats get stolen. And fastest-stolen signs were those for HRC and Obama. It's sad, but you know the signs for blue candidates will vanish in the night.

In other words, it has nothing to a lack of interest. It has to do with a lack of respect for the law and deep political divisions. And we've had "Trump 2024" flying from front porches almost from the day he lost to Biden.
