CNN brought on its talking-head experts fast enough that I couldn't write down all their names and titles. I wish I'd been able to note the speaker on that one, because that kind of comment used to come mainly from scholars, but now you hear it now from film critics, too.
Either way, the broader point about women's shifting roles in the series seems worth noting, whether or not it should have been have been labeled "misogyny." That's the kind of thing that would be easy to miss if you weren't watching every episode. Thanks again for your perspective on it.
