That's why I'm not reviewing Crime and Punishment every week. I do a lot of books like Plum Sykes and Colleen Hoover novels and political biographies, none of which are exactly literature.
When I do literature--say, Jane Austen--it's very often something I've read in the past and returned to (in Austen's case, after having read not just all the novels but also all her letters, juvenilia, and a lot of biography and criticism). In the time I have available, it's just easier to do justice to nonfiction.
