That's a tough one, because the social media boom has made it harder to break into almost any magazine. The editors are swamped with resumes. And Cosmopolitan is a Hearst magazine, not Conde Nast.

But I'd start by following individual editors on social media and trying to engage with them. And many writers get their jobs on magazines by first freelancing for them and proving their worth that way. It's so much easier to break in if you have a connection to an editor through freelancing.
