That was the big advantage of some traditional publishers: They would do high-value marketing and promotion for you, such as setting up television interviews.

But now even that seems to be changing. I wonder how much some publishers are making, particularly the publishers of self-published books. I'd love to see some good figures, but they're hard to come by.
