Thanks, Kent. It amazes me how much of the marketing and publicity publishers are trying to offload onto authors.

Writers are already expected to promote their own books far more than they ever were in the past. Now they're expected to do the same for every other author they know, too? It's madness.

Authors have to know their priorities and keep their main focus on their writing itself, not on all this social media razzmatazz.
