Thanks, Jennifer. Before I moved to the Deep South I associated the region more with pies like peach and Key Lime. But people here seem to love their specialty cakes equally. A while back I wrote about for The Daily Cuppa about something called Hummingbird Cakes. Now I just have to do Caramel Cakes, which are probably the most popular :).
