Thanks for noticing, Dave. I have systems in place that keep my responding to comments from taking too much time away from my other writing.

For example, I write a column called Pop Culture Shorts on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for Medium’s FanFare publication. And I do a lot of those a couple of days or more in advance.

I’ve already written and submitted the columns for tomorrow and Wednesday. So I’m not sitting here thinking, “If I respond to Dave’s comment, I might not have time to finish tomorrow’s piece.” It’s done. If you leave a comment on Tuesday, I’ll probably respond to that, too, because I won’t be worrying about Wednesday’s, either :).
