Thanks, Bri. "Surreal" is a great word the flyer activity.

In this story I link to an al.com story about something I see here all the time: Ultra-conservatives have cut back on the overt race-baiting and are instead trying to limit black voters' power through back-room political tactics like gerrymandering.

But they overtly and continually bash LBGTQ voters, often by attacking what they call "the LGBTQ agenda." It's so sad that they can define themselves only by viciously attacking another group.

By the way, The Polis could be a good pub if you ever want to write about a topic that seems too legal or political for, say, the Real or CounterArts. It could use more female contributors and I told the editors they should try to recruit you :).
