Thanks, Ben. I'm neither a gamer nor someone who listens to podcasts.

But I have a keen interest in (and appreciation of) the importance of both to pop culture and society as a whole. And I'd read smart posts about either to try to understand their influence better.

So it strikes me as odd that both games and podcasts get so little attention here and on Substack. Just look at the impact The Joe Rogan Experience had on the election.

I wonder if there isn't a tautology or chicken-and-egg issue at work: Nobody is writing about them because they don't see others doing it, and people might follow if they saw a successful example. I wish I were qualified to be that person, but--alas--I'm not.
