Thanks a million for a much-needed story. I write a lot about books and publishing, and reviews written with AI are becoming a huge problem on Medium.

To your excellent perspective I'd that add stories written with an undisclosed AI assist violate the Medium policy that requires disclosure, spelled out in a recent story by content vp Scott Lamb. I'd encourage members to report the scofflaws, as I do, either by a) using the Report button on the pull-down menu under the three black dots on every story) or b) writing to Trust@Medium.com. Serial rule-breakers should be kicked off the platform, but Medium needs to know of the problem to oust them.
