Thank you! Someone in "Yellowface" also uses the term "cultural leeching," which seems to be worse than "cultural appropriation" in an unspecified way. I wasn't sure what it was, so I didn't mention it, but that may be a term we'll hear more.

Without having read American Dirt, I'm not sure how fair that controversy was, either. It's so frustrating to me as a critic that you can't just treat books like that as a book (and review it as such). You have to sort through all the baggage attached to it.
