O'Connor admired Miller Williams immensely, too. He got a teaching job at the University of Arkansas because she saw an ad for the post and told the powers-that-be at the school, "You should consider this man" (whom the committee apparently hadn't heard of back then). They tracked him down and agreed with her.

I admire O'Connor a lot and am glad to know of another fan. Thanks!
