This is the most disturbing thing I’ve read about his book
Did you think Prince Harry’s fusillade of assaults on his family couldn’t get tawdrier?
If so, consider a comment Harry made to a British journalist after he’d spoken to American media like 60 Minutes about his Spare: He said knows more embarrassing facts about his family than he revealed in his memoir.
‘There are some things that have happened, especially between me and my brother, and to some extent between me and my father, that I just don’t want the world to know,” he told Bryony Gordon in a paywalled interview in the Telegraph. “Because I don’t think they would ever forgive me.”
That quote — the most disturbing from Harry I’ve seen — does more than undercut his comments that he’d like to reconcile with his family.
As the admired British journalist and historian Alexander Larman wrote: “This appears to be, of course, nothing less than blackmail.”
What could Harry hope to gain by suggesting he knows worse details than he’s telling?
Perhaps protection for his titles, which Parliament could remove with legislation similar to the 1917 Titles Deprivation Act that stripped titles from royals who supported Germany in World War…
