I've written a lot about cozy mysteries, and I enjoy thinking about questions like: How are cozy mysteries and cozy games similar or different? What needs in people do they respond to?

Some parents might use cozy games the way earlier generations used board games: as an activity the entire family can enjoy. They may turn to games not for escapism but for the opposite, a way to connect with other generations.
