I'm going to try to do more with your story, Ben. Since joining Medium I've linked almost every story of mine to 5 or 6 blogs and social media: Twitter, LinkedIn, FB, Muck Rack, a book blog, and more recently, Mastodon.

Your story made me realize that since the "three free stories" rule died, I might be making people angry by continually linking to stories they can't read. Why should we link to stories people can't read?
