I used that photo in part because the display seemed atypically flashy for Scotland, particularly for EH, and on that level, implicitly acknowledged Warhol's towering influence. I'd have expected to see that kind of artistic razzle-dazzle in Glasgow--if anywhere in Scotland--in Glasgow.

But I'm not sure anyone on Medium would appreciate those nuances except for you and @belcairn: Thank you for showing me that at least one person got them!
