I love that line from Pride and Prejudice! Some of the things Elizabeth lists as much praised “accomplishments” are wonderful, too (I think one has to do with making screens).

And capitalization rules can thwart even longtime journalists because there are slightly different rules for journalism (which follows AP style) and academia (which follows the Chicago Manual of Style), though the two agree that lowercasing verbs like is is a felony). Then there are those British publications seem to lowercase everything! It looks so weird to Americans. I’m grateful to Kevin Alexander for reminding people in another comment of the Capitalize My Title tool.
