I am SO happy to hear from someone more familiar with Zhadan's work than most Americans are!

Zhadan has won literary honors in Poland, Germany, Switzerland, and elsewhere, but he remains largely unknown here in the U.S. (though I was able to find his book in my small-town library, which is may be a sign that this is changing for the better).
