He does contribute to it (and apologizes in Hate Inc. for some of the ways in which he has). But his book is one of the few I've read that took the trouble to spell out how we got into this mess (e.g., what was happening at the same time that Fox was on the. move).

I appreciate that aspect, because--as I mention in another comment--generations are growing up with no idea that the news ecosphere operated on a different set of assumptions. Not everybody has the mature wisdom that you and I do :).
