Have you looked at the @FanFare publication on Medium? It does a lot on the intersection of different arts (e.g., I wrote about James Michener's novel "Tales of the South Pacific," which became a musical and then a movie). So FanFare might appeal to you. Editor @EricPierce sets a high bar for his writers--and I don't know if any are students instead of working pros--but it's a great site you might want to follow in any case.
