Ha. Don't take it personally. My Pop Culture Shorts column on FanFare tomorrow is about a song that did soar up the U.K. charts one holiday season, climbing higher than Adele and Nirvana. It's the Christmas novelty song "Dominick the Donkey," complete with the "hee-haw, hee-haw" of a braying donkey. It raced up the charts with the help of big push from BBC Radio 1, which had a presenter named Dominic. Your song might have needed a few donkey-like sound effects to make the cut :).
