Fosse was Knausgard's teacher, believe it on not, at university. And I'm so glad you brought up KOK (which I hope other commenters will follow up on).

A lot of reviews if Fosse have mentioned Knausgard. I didn't because--by the time I realized he was an author I might like--he'd published such a torrent, I realized might need a week to catch up.
