Fifty claps for you, too, Simon, for your eagle eye and sense of justice. Just to repeat what I've said elsewhere in these comments: It might make a difference insofar as whether or not contest rules were broken if she "quickly attributes" the work. But it wouldn't make a difference on the copyright issue. She can add all the credits she likes, but if it's a copyrighted photo that she lacks permission to use, it's still a violation.
