Especially about books by big or favored American authors. You get a more well-rounded view of them if you read the U.S. media plus one liberal (Guardian) and one conservative (Spectator) British newspaper magazine, my usual approach.

The challenge is that the Guardian has become much more Americanized lately and can echo U.S. views. I wish the Telegraph and Times of London weren't so aggressively paywalled, which makes them hard to access.
