Just to reassure you, I'm a journalist and have written quite a few journalistic pieces for @NoahLevy and @kevinaalexander since the early days of the pub.

In my experience they're open to anything about music as long as you can make it interesting. Some of what I've written hasn't dealt with songs at all: e.g., I did one piece on a World Series pitcher who opened a recording studio and another on a secret message (seriously) that a graphic designer hid in Bob Dylan's hair in an iconic poster.

That kind of variety is what makes this pub a pleasure to write for. And I don't see that changing at all.
