An update or clarification on Medium's policy on AI- generated stories.

As I see it, the biggest issue facing Medium (and many other media) right now is the need to get the use of AI under control. By my lights, if Medium doesn't deal squarely with that on Medium Day, it would be ignoring the elephant in the room.

Scott Lamb said in a story that Medium a) requires AI use to be disclosed and b) that it won't distribute stories created with AI. But if either of those is happening, it's not happening in a way that's apparent, at least to me. It makes you wonder if the policies have been changed.
